LAZER- THERAPY
The word “LAZER”, composed of the first letters of the English expression Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation, means the amplification of light by stimulated emission of radiation.
The main acceptor of the energy of the laser radiation are the biological macromolecules – mainly the protein polymers, which make up the structure of the cell membrane or are involved in the metabolism and the metabolic processes in the body.
In case of short-term effects on the skin with laser radiation there are changes in the cells of the different skin layers at the point of falling photon flux.
As a result of the changes in the skin cells (under the influence of various laser rays), various secondary processes, including nerve endings, blood vessel capillaries, acupuncture points and intercellular substances, and through neuro-vegetative, neuro-humoral and other mechanisms , the influence of laser radiation is transmitted inside the body, encompassing the higher systems of biological organization. Depending on the energy absorbed and the extent of action at the site of ingestion, the secondary reaction is of varying intensity and encompasses different systems of the body. Under the influence of complex secondary mechanisms in the field of absorption of laser radiation, the reaction is expressed in several directions: blood flow augmentation, changes in excitability of nerve endings, intensification of transmembrane transfer of substances, changes in salt components, changes in hormone concentration in the blood, etc.
It is proven that the laser treatment helps against inflammation and has analgesic and vasodilating effects. Regeneration processes thropics, erythropoiesis, osteogenesis, and phagocytosis are being stimulated accordingly. It is believed that the biostimulating action generating a larger oxygen flow is due to the stimulation of the functional activity and the trophicity of the cell and the cell mitochondria.
The therapeutic power of the laser treatment is extremely high when influencing the meridian system, justified by traditional Chinese medicine. This method is called laser puncture. Its advantages are the absolute sterility, it is painless and saves a lot of time when restoring the balance of the energy in the body. Of course, laser therapy has been applied on larger areas.
Depending on the individual characteristics of the laser beam it can penetrate deeper in the human body. This makes it extremely important for the treatment of various deep inflammatory diseases.
Laser beams have the ability (of course, according to their characteristics) to penetrate to a significant depth in the human body. This makes them the primary means of therapeutic action among other therapeutic agents operating with preformed physical factors in the treatment of various deep inflammatory diseases, such as osteoarthritis, and others. Especially efficient is the laser phonoscope (laser headset), which allows us immediately after precise detection of any inflammatory changes of the lungs, immediate laser effect on the same with excellent therapeutic effect.
LASER AGAINST ALGERIC RINIT
Biodoctor applies the latest inventions in this therapy on the ones suffering from this extremely unpleasant illness. The medical center has two high-tech laser instruments for the treatment of rhinitis – Model № TI-816-9 and Model № TI-816-4B, awarded with golden medal (2014 Taipei Int’l Invention Show & Technomart GOLD MEDAL AWARD) and bronze medal (2010 Taipei Int’l Invention Show & Technomart BRONZE MEDAL AWARD) for International Inventions. Their application leads to relieve the symptoms of nose obstruction, reduces runny nose, itchy nose and sneezing. It is really important the fact that that procedures are painless as they are done in a non-invasive way.
Rhinitis is an inflammation of the nasal mucosa that can be caused by various causative agents.
Rhinitis is mainly allergic and infectious. There are other rare species that are caused by other reasons.
Airborne allergens are the most common cause of allergic rhinitis. Generally there are 3 types of allergens:
- Indoor – allergens – mainly pet ticks, domestic animals, insects or some other plant products
- Outdoor – allergens – includes pollen and mold
- Professional allergens – from a specific work environment
The main symptoms of allergic rhinitis are:
- Sneezing – often repeatedly, especially in seasonal allergic rhinitis
- Itching in the nose, eyes, palate and ear canal
- Clogged nose – dominant in all-year-old allergic rhinitis
- Secretion – watery seasonal and slimy in all-year-old allergic rhinitis (also known as “hay fever”)
In Bulgaria, according to recent studies, the incidence of allergic rhinitis is extremely high – 18.2%.
The teenagers and young people are mainly affected, with the peak between 10 and 20 years of age. After 50 years, the frequency has fallen sharply. At the age of 20, the male sex predominates, and the frequency is then equalized.
